Smoking bans are being issued all across the country. Before the early 1990’s you smoke just about anywhere from restaurants to airports. It all started with assigned sections for smoking and non-smoking. During the 2000’s however, smoking has become obsolete is most restaurants and completely illegal in airports. While smoking lines are being drawn, hookah popularity is being casted.
According to a new study taken by the University of Washington, it certainly couldn’t hurt to talk to your teen about marijuana.
A team of scientists who were led by the Yale School of Medicine reported a study that supplied evidence that shows how nicotine suppresses appetite. They state that smokers tend to die at a younger age while being skinnier than non-smokers. With this new discovery, scientists believe that a drug can be developed that will help smokers non-smokers alike, stay thin.
Due to the research accomplished by U.S. Department of Energy’s Brookhaven National Laboratory, Brookhaven Lab, Stony Brook University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse & Alcoholism, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse, a study shows that many individuals have a particular genetic makeup that is lower in gray matter density, which supplies less neurons in certain areas.
